Mononucleosis

- Age 15-25
- Close contact with infected person
- Sharing utensils
Seek care: If you develop severe abdominal pain (possible splenic enlargement), difficulty breathing, or symptoms lasting more than 2 weeks.
Strep Throat
InfectiousA bacterial infection of the throat and tonsils caused by Group A Streptococcus.
Common Symptoms:
Risk Factors:
- Age 5-15
- Close contact with infected person
- Season (winter/spring)
Seek care: If sore throat is severe, lasts more than 48 hours, is accompanied by rash, or difficulty breathing.
